The very first automobile sale I actually went to to look for a car was a police auction. I wanted a motorbike, but my folks did not wish to pay the motorcycle insurance premiums. From this adult perspective, I can understand why they would have been scared about the motorcycle insurance premiums, specifically motorcycle insurance for a 16 year old! Well, I was 15 years of age, and eager for getting my license at 16. I had been holding down a job for several years, saving and saving money for vehicle selling. I wanted to buy a car as soon as I could, you see. I knew that, as soon as I was 16, I would be able to drive. I also knew that my folks wouldn't help me out. I would have to buy a used car with my own cash.
In fact, I did not get my first car at one of those vehicle selling. I wish to lots of used car lots, and I even checked out a few brand-new vehicles, but I ended up buying a car from a buddy. He was a family friend who had been fixing vehicles for years, and he had some great old muscle vehicles that were in passable condition. It cost virtually every dime that I had, but I ended up getting an old Trans Am. It did not precisely drive great, but I was the proudest child in school to possess it.
Nowdays, I run my own vehicle selling operation. You see, I have a used car lot of my own. I used to work on a brand-new car lot, but I did not truly like the way that sales vehicles went there. The neat thing about used vehicles is that the whole thing is open for negotiation. I like striking deals with folks, and searching for the right thing for the right consumers. Working at the used car lot truly allows me to do that. I am happy because I make money on the vehicle selling, and the consumers are happy to get the very best deal they can.
