MS Lifecam vx-1000 audio not in sync with video?
I want to record a/v clips directly to my PC, not using any live internet connection. I have MS Lifecam vx-1000 USB. Using the Lifecam software (no updates available, I tried), the audio is badly out of sync with video. I am running Vista Basic Home edition, 2GB memory, lots of HDD space. I did not install windows live messenger, so cannot access the audio/video controls in the Lifecam software. Using Roxio Creator v9 gets me a high-pitched buzz for audio, and not so great looking video. Since that's 2 pieces of software not working with this 1 piece of hardware, I assume it's the hardware. Can anyone provide me with Windows Vista assistance for the Lifecam vx-100 audio/video sync problem?
Hi Logan, sorry, no, that's not the solution. I never had the backlight feature on. I wish!
I just got a new Microsoft Lifecam VX-3000 as well and I'm happy to say that I know the solution to your problem.
Right when I first used it, the synchronization was perfect, but then I used it later and it was very off. After two hours of playing around with the options, I found out that it was out of sync because I turned on the backlight/lowlight. When I turned it off, it was back to normal.
So just turn off your backlight/low-light and the sync will be fine. (inconvenient i know).
Tell me if it works.
