Learning To Speak Spanish Is Not That Complex
Ever thought to yourself one day, I want to learn Spanish? I woke up on Tuesday like that, because of my dream. I was in Spain and no one could understand my English. I tried to order a drink at a bar, but I ended up getting into a fight! I think I called his wife a clown. Anyways, when I woke up, I wanted to speak Spanish. So how hard is it really to learn Spanish?
Basically the older you are, the harder it will be to learn. This is because of the fact that your brain activity is very high when you are young. Children pick up languages like nothing else, because their brain activity is off the charts. So sorry gramps, but you will have a hard time learning to speak Spanish in comparison to a 20 something like me. So what can you do? There are many alternatives to learn a language instead of taking a class or hiring a tutor. Problem is that most of them are crap. Good luck trying to learn from an English to Spanish dictionary. And audio lessons are great, if you feel like listening to sounds for hours upon hours with no material to learn upon. I found that the best way to learn a language is to hit all 3 senses, audio, video and interaction. This way you hit all three memory receptors and the lessons actually stick in your head. Some of these learn to speak Spanish programs have little review games that you can check out too, this definitely helps.
One of the best comprehensive learn to speak Spanish programs I found was Rocket Spanish by Mauricio Evlampieff. The lessons are all online, making it accessible anywhere. The very easy to follow lessons feature a Spanish native. This way you get proper dialect and current terms, instead of old words that they don't use anymore.
